Q: Do I have to know any back ground to Maori mythology to understand the stories?
A: No. By using Kaitiaki guardians you will gain a little knowledge of Maori mythology.
At the beginning of the booklet there is a short story on the Maori version of the creation of the world. The book and cards use both the Maori and English names for each guardian and state what they represent.
Q: What if I do not know how to pronounce Maori words?
A: That’s OK! There is a brief pronunciation guide in the booklet. And when ever a Maori word or phrase is used it will always be followed with an English translation.
Q: Can my children use Kaitiaki Guardians?
A: Children over 8 years will have more understanding of the concept and enjoy Kaitiaki Guardians.
It can be fun for anyone who is open minded and would like to receive creative inspiration and beautiful ideas on how to be happy.
Q: Will Kaitiaki Guardians predict my future?
A: No. Kaitiaki Guardians provides only ideas and various forms of inspiration to promote happiness, positive creativity for spiritual and emotional well being.
Q: Will Kaitiaki Guardians tell me anything “bad” about myself?
A: Kaitiaki Guardians were created only to uplift ones vibration.
If by chance you pull the “anger” card, it is not saying you are an angry person. It is providing you with a chance to transform an "angry" experience into something positive.
Q: What if I have never used inspiration cards before.
A: No worries! Inspiration cards are very easy to use and understand. Just pull a card, read about the chosen guardian and receive great food for thought. Its amazing how something so simple can be so rewarding.

Accepted Payment Methods
Credit Cards- All credit card payments are processed through Paypal's secure servers. You do not need to be or even become a member of Paypal to pay through this option. After you click the "Add to Cart" button you will be taken to Paypal's shopping cart to view your items, once you are ready, click the 'proceed to checkout' button then simply input your credit card and delivery details. It's easy and safe. However, if you do have any troubles in the order process please email us so we can help.
Paypal- If you do already have a Paypal account you can also pay with available funds from your Paypal balance
Direct Bank Transfer- New Zealand customers also have the option of making a direct deposit from their NZ bank accounts. If you would like to use this option please contact us using this form and we will arrange immediately. In your message, tell us your order and address, we will reply with payment instructions and on receipt of your payment we will ship the order.

Shipping Charges and Options
All prices are in New Zealand Dollars.
If you are ordering 4 or more sets of Kaitiaki Guardians please contact us first to set up a discounted shipping rate.
Note: The shopping cart will automatically give you the above discounted shipping rates when you order more than 1 set of either the Basket set or Organza set. However, it is not able to compute the discounted rate if you want to order both sets (ie Basket and Organza) at the same time. If you wish to do this and still get the discounted rates, please contact us before placing your order. We will supply you with instructions that will allow you to order with the shipping discount.
All orders are shipped from Raglan, New Zealand. Orders are filled and shipped 2 times weekly, meaning orders will be sent within 1-3 days of the order and payment being received.
Delivery within New Zealand takes between 1 and 3 business days and is traceable. Courier service is also available upon request.
For international shipments we use New Zealand Post - International Air. It generally takes 3-10 business days to arrive. If you would prefer to use an express shipping service with track and trace, please contact us first for a quote.
Returns and Exchanges Policy
If for any reason you are unsatisfied with your purchase, we offer a 14 day money-back guarantee, not including shipping costs. The goods must be returned to us undamaged.
When packaging orders we do our best to protect the items. However, if you receive your order and it is damaged, please contact us as soon as possible so we can sort it out for you.
Taxes and Customs
All customs and taxes which may be incured by importing orders into your country are the responsibility of you, the buyer. If you are concerned about taxes or customs, please check with your local customs authorities before ordering.
