A fun and easy to use inspirational tool. Includes a deck of 22 photo illustrated cards representing the guardians, plus a booklet of short stories about each guardian's mythology and the inspiration they have to share. The cards and booklet come encased in a traditional basket (konae), handwoven from a native New Zealand plant (harakeke). It is sustainably harvested under traditional methods. The cards and booklet are professionally printed on recycled, chlorine free paper and card from Aotearoa - New Zealand. The cards are 9 x 12 cm (3.5 x 4.7 inches) in size and all photos capture diferent aspects of New Zealand's natural beauty and Maori culture. The 43 page booklet includes stories about each card, as well as a Maori pronounciation guide, advice on how to best use the cards, and the Maori story on the creation of the earth.

Pulling oracle cards is a great way to stimulate your intuition and receive clear inspiration.
There is no set way to do a reading, the following is a good guideline but feel free to get creative and play!

How to use Kaitiaki Guardians...
The idea is to shuffle the set of cards, spread them in front of you (face down), then pull which ever card or cards your intuition guides you to. Then refer to the book and read about the particular guardian’s story and inspiration for you.
Before selecting a card it is a good idea to centre yourself and clear your mind as much as you can in your chosen way, it maybe by closing your eyes, or taking a long slow deep breath.
It is not necessary but you may like to ask a question to receive clarity and inspiration about a particular aspect of your life. If you do decide to ask a question, make it an open ended question, for example “What will help me to enjoy my day?” “How can I communicate better with my Boss?” In your mind, voice your chosen question, give thanks and choose your card or cards.
It’s also great doing readings with a friend, asking questions, pulling and interpreting the cards for each other. Combined intuition will give even greater clarity and enjoyment.
Give thanks after each reading to honour yourself, the cards and the guardians.
